Raw notes from lost deals
What it is
A competitor analysis compares the alternatives your buyers consider, including spreadsheets and doing nothing. For each one note the pricing, what it's strong and weak at, and where you win or lose deals against it. The best input is your own lost-deal notes, not competitors' marketing pages. End with actions, or it's just a document.
When to use it
- Positioning a new product or feature
- Training sales on objections
- Reviewing pricing
How to use it
- 01
One section per competitor
Use the same four bullets for each, so they're easy to compare.
- 02
Use real evidence
Paste quotes from lost deals into the toggle. Link interview or call note pages with @.
- 03
Summarise
Select the page and use Ask AI to write the two-line summary at the top.
- 04
Review every quarter
Revisit competitors' pricing pages each quarter and update the sections. Page history shows how the picture changed.
Or have the AI draft your version
"Write a competitor analysis for a local coworking space against two other coworking spaces, cafés and working from home, with pricing, strengths, weaknesses and actions."
