What it is
OKRs (objectives and key results) set a few goals per quarter. The objective says what you want in words. The key results say how you'll measure it, with a start value, a target and the current value. Teams usually aim high, so landing at 70% of a key result can still be a good quarter. Confidence shows which ones need help now.
When to use it
- Quarterly planning for a team or company
- Connecting daily work to a small number of goals
- Checking progress every week or two
How to use it
- 01
Write two to four objectives
Edit the Objective options so each one is a short sentence. Add three or so key results per objective as rows.
- 02
Make every key result measurable
Fill in start, target and current. If you can't, it's a task, not a key result.
- 03
Check in weekly
Update Current, Progress and Confidence. The board by confidence shows what's at risk.
- 04
Explain the risky ones
Open any key result marked At risk and write why and what you're doing about it.
Or have the AI draft your version
"Draft OKRs for a 6-person customer support team for one quarter, with three objectives about speed, quality and self-service, and three key results each with start and target values."
