What it is
A reading list is a small database of books. Each book has an author, a genre, a status (to read, reading, finished) and your rating, and opens as its own page for notes. The gallery view shows the list as a shelf of cards, the board shows what you're reading now, and the table sorts finished books by date.
When to use it
- Book recommendations from friends get lost in your chats
- You want notes and quotes from each book in one place
- You'd like to see how many books you finished this year
How to use it
- 01
Add a book
Click New in the gallery, type the title and fill in author and genre. Pick an emoji icon so the card is easy to spot.
- 02
Move it along
Change the status to Reading or Finished. The board view groups books by status, so you see what's on the nightstand.
- 03
Take notes inside
Open a book to write notes under its properties. Use toggles for chapter summaries you don't need to see every time.
- 04
Ask about your reading
Use Ask your workspace with a question like "Which books did I rate 5 this year?" and get an answer with links.
Or have the AI draft your version
"Build a reading list database for a book club with properties for who suggested the book, meeting date, page count and a discussion questions section in each book page."
