What it is
A one-on-one page is one running document shared by a manager and the person they support, newest meeting on top. Both sides add topics during the week, so the meeting starts with an agenda nobody had to write that morning. Older meetings fold into toggles, which keeps the page short and the history close.
When to use it
- Regular 1:1s with someone you manage
- Mentoring sessions where you want to track progress
- Any recurring two-person meeting with follow-ups
How to use it
- 01
Share it with one person
Use Share to give the other person edit access. Nobody else sees the page unless you add them.
- 02
Add topics during the week
Both of you write under your own heading when something comes up. It saves remembering on the day.
- 03
Close with follow-ups
End every meeting with to-dos that have a name in front. Tick them off at the start of the next one.
- 04
Fold old meetings
Move last month's notes into the Earlier meetings toggle. Search with ⌘K still finds them.
Or have the AI draft your version
"Draft a one-on-one page for a team lead and a new junior developer, with sections for wins, blockers, learning goals, feedback both ways and follow-ups."
