Client call notes template

Context, what the client said, agreed next steps and a follow-up email drafted before you hang up.

This is the page you get. Every block and row is editable.

What it is

Client call notes capture context before the call, what the client said in their own words, what you promised and the next steps on both sides. The last section is a follow-up email you draft before you hang up, while the details are fresh. Clients notice when the recap arrives within the hour.

When to use it

  • Discovery and sales calls
  • Project check-ins with a client
  • Any call where you make promises with a deadline

How to use it

  1. 01

    Prepare the context

Fill in attendees and background before the call. Link the deal in your CRM with @.

  2. 02

    Write what they said

Note their words, budget and deadlines. Keep your own pitch in a separate section.

  3. 03

    Draft the follow-up

Select the notes and use Ask AI to write a follow-up email. Edit it, then copy it into your mail client.

  4. 04

    Assign next steps

Every next step gets a name, including the ones on the client side.

Or have the AI draft your version

"Create client call notes for a web agency's first call with a dental practice that wants online booking, including discovery questions, budget, risks, next steps and a follow-up email."
