Summary
What it is
The Cornell method splits a page into three parts. Notes go in the main column during class. Afterwards you write short cue questions beside them, and a summary of a few sentences at the bottom. This template turns each cue into a toggle with the notes inside, so you can revise by reading the question, answering it and then opening it to check.
When to use it
- Lectures and classes you'll be tested on
- Reading notes for textbook chapters
- Any notes you want to revise from later
How to use it
- 01
Take notes in class
Write fast under a heading. Don't worry about structure yet.
- 02
Turn notes into cues
After class, group notes under toggles and phrase each toggle as a question.
- 03
Write the summary
Three sentences in your own words. Use Ask AI's summarise only to check what you missed.
- 04
Revise closed
Collapse every toggle, answer each question out loud, then open it to check.
Or have the AI draft your version
"Create Cornell notes for a biology lecture on enzymes, with cue questions as toggles, notes inside each one, a worked example and a three-sentence summary."

- How the AI works
Draft your own with AI
Describe the page you need in one sentence. The AI writes it, and you edit it like any other page.
